Prof. Evan S. LIEBERMAN is a Professor of Political Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he directs the Center for International Studies, the MIT Global Diversity Lab, and the MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI). He holds the Total Chair on the study of Contemporary Africa.
