Multi-Dimensional Scaling of Healthcare System Profiles and Pandemic Outcomes in Cuba, Spain, Italy, and Germany

Applying multi-dimensional scaling (MDS) to compare four healthcare systems, this paper correlates structural profiles with differential COVID-19 mortality outcomes. Financing structure and primary care coverage emerge as stronger predictors of pandemic resilience than GDP per capita — challenging wealth-centric interpretations and providing a replicable international benchmarking framework.
