The Chair of Transitions at IAS-UM6P officially launched its research program with an inaugural conference on February 24 at the Benguerir Campus. The event, held in Salle Laayoune, SHBM, gathered students, researchers, and faculty members for an engaging discussion on the major transformations shaping our world.

Led by Prof. Raphaël Liogier and Dr. Marouane Jaouat, the conference explored key themes such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, climate change, and cultural resistance. The discussions also introduced the White Paper on Transitions, a foundational theoretical framework for the Chair’s future research endeavors.

This inaugural event marked the beginning of a series of interdisciplinary seminars aimed at fostering critical analysis and innovative approaches to contemporary global challenges. By establishing itself as a key hub for studying transitional phenomena, the Chair of Transitions seeks to contribute valuable insights and drive meaningful discourse on the evolving dynamics of society.
