What happens when an engineer who loves society meets an anthropologist who loves technology? This seminar brings together two cross-disciplinary thinkers to explore one of the defining questions of our time: how do we build the human foundations that responsible AI demands, and how can AI, in turn, strengthen the fabric of human communities?
Prof. Aawatif Hayar, former Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, and expert in Frugal Social Sustainable Smart Cities, approaches this question through the lens of public policy, engineering, and social transformation. Dr. Artur Serra, Ph.D. in Technoanthropology and researcher at i2CAT Foundation in Barcelona, brings the perspective of culture, communities, and human systems.
Together, they invite us into a dialogue that challenges the boundaries between technology and society, between building machines and building people.
