Conference 2024

N2 2024: The Noosphere & the Global South

Beyond the Individual

N2 is an international, interdisciplinary conference dedicated to creative collaboration around the future evolution of global consciousness and the noosphere.

The 2024 edition places the Global South at the center of that conversation, inviting participants to think collectively about the ethical, scientific, and civilizational stakes of shared human futures.

N2 2024: The Noosphere & the Global South

About the conference

The N2 Conference 2024 is the second edition of the conference launched by Human Energy at the University of California Berkeley in 2023. Building on that first gathering, the 2024 edition brings together an ambitious slate of invited speakers, an interactive exhibit of selected posters, and generous room for mutual engagement and discussion.

This in-person conference also welcomes remote participation. All presentations are designed to support open access, live-streamed exchange, and a broad interdisciplinary audience interested in the noosphere, collective consciousness, and the role of the Global South in shaping future paradigms.

Interdisciplinary by design Philosophers, scientists, artists, theologians, social thinkers, and futurists come into the same space for a shared conversation.
Global South perspective The conference re-centers planetary questions through voices, institutions, and experiences rooted beyond dominant Northern frameworks.
Participatory format Short keynotes, poster sessions, and collaborative exchanges are built into the program rather than treated as secondary activities.
