Biography

Prof. Gregory Chaitin is a renowned mathematician and computer scientist known for his groundbreaking contributions to the field of algorithmic information theory. Born in 1947, in Chicago, Illinois. Prof. Chaitin developed a passion for mathematics at an early age and went on to become one of the most influential figures in the field.

Prof. Chaitin finalizes his first book « Philosophical Mathematics, infinity, incompleteness, irreducibility» during his residency period at IAS. The book is currently under review by Raphaël Liogier, IAS Scientific Director.

Interview book between Prof. Chaitin and Prof. Liogier “The Infinite Dialogue” at the crossroads of the concept of Khaos and Omega number (based on a series of interviews. The first two interviews have already been registered. A documentary will also be made from these recordings.
