This conference offered a critical reading of radicalization policies in Europe, drawing on ethnographic fieldwork conducted in Belgium. Based on research by Prof. Nadia Fadil and Dr. Montassir Sakhi, the session examined how counter-radicalization devices shape a new form of governmentality in liberal societies, targeting Muslim populations at the intersection of social and penal logics.
