Biography
Andrea Miedtank is a Geological Sciences B.Sc. candidate at Freie Universität Berlin (expected 2026) and a student research assistant at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin. She works on cosmic dust within the ERC project NoSHADE, focusing on the mineralogical analysis of micrometeorites collected during repeated field campaigns in Chile’s Atacama Desert. Her work aims to constrain processes and events in Solar System history. She is also active in science outreach, strengthening geoscience education in schools and conducting micrometeorite workshops.
