UM6P Press, in partnership with Librairie Eyrolles, hosted a book presentation and discussion dedicated to Les Sentiers qui bifurquent – Aube 1, the first volume of the memoirs of Driss Alaoui Mdaghri—former minister, author, poet, and prominent cultural figure.

Held at the Librairie Eyrolles on the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University campus in Rabat, the event brought together readers, scholars, and members of the UM6P community for an engaging literary exchange.

The book offers an introspective and reflective journey shaped by poetry, intellectual inquiry, and civic engagement. Through its pages, Driss Alaoui Mdaghri explores themes that have deeply influenced his worldview, including the pursuit of peace in times of conflict, the imaginative worlds of science fiction and chess, and the enduring dialogue between tradition and modernity.

This literary encounter provided an opportunity to reflect on memory, commitment, and creativity, while celebrating a work that bridges personal narrative and broader cultural reflection. The event reaffirmed UM6P Press’s commitment to fostering intellectual debate and promoting literary voices that contribute meaningfully to contemporary thought.
