Amplifying African Knowledge

About UM6P Press

At IAS, we are proud to support UM6P Press, a dynamic publishing initiative dedicated to amplifying African scholarship and literature. By providing a platform for researchers, writers, and intellectuals connected to Africa, UM6P Press facilitates the global dissemination of knowledge and fosters intellectual exchange.

A Commitment to African Literature

As part of our collaboration with the Marrakech African Literature Festival, UM6P Press contributes to the African Literatures Collection, a groundbreaking initiative to ensure low-cost publishing and broad dissemination of African literature. This effort is supported by key partners, including OIF, JIMSAAN (founded by Felwine Sarr), Mémoires d’encriers (Canada), Barzakh (Algeria), Elizade (Tunisia), and forthcoming contributors from Mali, Côte d’Ivoire, and beyond.
