Documenting Excellence.
"Excellence is not a privilege, it is a responsibility."
"Trajectoires is a journey of Growth, Resilience and Big Achievements."
Trajectoires unfolds in two complementary phases. Phase I documents the intellectual and personal journeys of UM6P students — across all schools and disciplines of the university. Phase II extends this narrative to alumni of the Lycée Mohammed VI d'Excellence, showcasing pathways of merit, social mobility, and access to leading engineering schools in Morocco and abroad.
"Excellence is not a privilege, it is a responsibility."
Trajectoires — Twelve Voices from UM6P
Launched as an audiovisual and editorial series, Trajectoires captures the academic and personal evolution of UM6P students through filmed interviews and narrative portraits. From their first day on campus to graduation, the project documents the challenges, aspirations, and breakthroughs that shape their university journey.
Through diverse profiles across engineering, health sciences, architecture, computing, and agro-biosciences, the series highlights the plurality of voices that define UM6P. Climate change, artificial intelligence, faith, family, ambition, and social responsibility emerge as recurring themes shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
The first phase resulted in both a filmed series and a published book — Journeys: The UM6P Experience by Twelve Students — extending the project into a lasting editorial archive of student voices.

12 students, 12 journeys.
One ambition.
In 2025, Trajectoires expanded beyond the UM6P campus to document the journeys of alumni from the Lycée Mohammed VI d'Excellence. Through filmed interviews and an editorial publication, this phase highlights pathways of merit, resilience, and social mobility.
The series portrays twelve students from diverse regions of Morocco who accessed leading engineering institutions in Morocco and abroad — including École Polytechnique, CentraleSupélec, Arts et Métiers, EMINES, and others.
Their stories reflect discipline, sacrifice, mentorship, and the transformative power of structured academic ecosystems. Episodes are released on YouTube and shared across IAS and UM6P platforms, bringing these trajectories of excellence to a national and international audience.
Featured Portrait
From the foothills of Beni Mellal to the halls of one of the world's most prestigious engineering schools — Aya's journey is a testament to what structured excellence, mentorship, and sheer determination can achieve. Graduated from the Lycée Mohammed VI d'Excellence, she now sits in the amphitheatres of École Polytechnique, carrying with her the aspirations of her family and her city.
Her trajectory — from a childhood in a mid-sized Moroccan city to the Grandes Écoles of France — is the kind of story Trajectoires was built to tell: that merit, when given the right environment, knows no geographic or social limits.
Also documented in this series:
11 other alumni from across Morocco — from Agadir to Talsint, from small towns to major cities — now enrolled in Morocco's and France's top engineering programmes.
